Barbat de 54 de ani, victima a hipotermiei, transportat de urgenta la spital

Noaptea trecută, un bărbat în vârstă de 54 de ani a fost adus la Unitatea de Primiri Urgente cu hipotermie severă, având o temperatură corporală de 29,5 grade Celsius. Conform informațiilor disponibile, bărbatul consumase o cantitate mare de alcool înainte de a cădea pe stradă. Din cauza stării sale de inconștiență, el a fost expus la frig timp îndelungat, până când a fost descoperit de echipajul de salvare.

În acest sezon rece, aproximativ 20 de pacienți au fost primiți la UPU din cauza hipotermiei, majoritatea dintre ei fiind vârstnici găsiți în propriile locuințe, dar incapabili să se încălzească. Autoritățile avertizează cu privire la riscurile de sănătate asociate condițiilor meteorologice severe, în special pentru persoanele vulnerabile.
