OMV Petrom și NewMed Energy nu au descoperit gaze în Marea Neagră

Companiile OMV Petrom și NewMed Energy Balkan nu au găsit gaze naturale în Perimetrul Han Asparuh, situat în Marea Neagră, conform informațiilor transmise de profit.ro. Forajul inițial în blocul Han Asparuh, desfășurat în zona de explorare offshore, nu a relevat rezerve semnificative de gaze.

Forajul efectuat de Noble Corporation, care s-a realizat cu ajutorul navei Globetrotter I, a atins o adâncime de aproximativ 3.230 de metri. Sonda se află la circa 200 de kilometri est de Varna, în ape adânci de circa 2.000 de metri. Potrivit datelor menționate de offshore-energy, în formațiunile vizate au fost identificate doar urme minore de gaz, ceea ce a determinat clasificarea Vineh-1 ca o sondă uscată.

OMV Offshore Bulgaria continuă să analizeze datele geologice ale sitului. Chiar și în urma rezultatelor limitate, planificarea unei a doua forări în blocul Han Asparuh rămâne în curs de desfășurare, conform surselor din sector.
