Lukoil vinde divizia internațională către fondul Carlyle Group

Grupul petrolier rus Lukoil a confirmat joi încheierea unui acord pentru vânzarea diviziei Lukoil International GmbH, care include activele internaționale ale companiei, către Carlyle Group, fond american de private equity, transmite Reuters, preluat de Agerpres.

👉 Impactul sancțiunilor SUA asupra operațiunilor Lukoil

Includerea Lukoil pe lista entităților sancționate de SUA în octombrie 2023 a fost declanșată de stagnarea negocierilor de pace între Rusia și Ucraina. Această măsură a obligat compania rusă să își vândă activele internaționale pentru a se conforma noilor reglementări.

Conform sancțiunilor aplicate în Statele Unite, Lukoil avea termen până pe 28 februarie 2024 pentru a-și finaliza vânzările de active din străinătate, ceea ce a determinat accelerarea procesului de transfer al acestei divizii.

👉 Rețeaua Lukoil și activitățile în România

Lukoil operează o rețea extinsă, având peste 5.300 de benzinării în 20 de țări, precum și rafinării în Europa. Potrivit raportului anual, producția totală a companiei a atins anul trecut 13,5 milioane de tone, echivalentul a aproximativ 270.000 de barili pe zi.

În România, Lukoil deține rafinăria Petrotel și vinde carburanți printr-o rețea de 300 de stații de distribuție, continuând să joace un rol important pe piața locală a energiei.
