Exonia deschide prima fabrică de hârtie cerată pentru ambalaje alimentare la Iași

Exonia, un producător de ambalaje biodegradabile din hârtie, a anunțat o investiție de 1,5 milioane de euro pentru deschiderea primei sale fabrici de hârtie cerată, dedicată ambalării produselor alimentare. Această unitate va fi situată în orașul Iași.

Nadia Stoian, directorul operativ al fabricii Exonia, a menționat că deschiderea fabricii reprezintă un moment semnificativ atât pentru România, cât și pentru întreaga regiune a Europei de Est. Hârtia cerată, care este fabricată exclusiv din materii prime de origine vegetală, este un produs complet biodegradabil. Aceasta se aliniază strategiei Uniunii Europene de a reduce impactul plasticului asupra mediului.

„Ambalarea produselor alimentare în hârtie cerată este o soluție sigură pentru consumatori și prietenoasă cu planeta. Aceasta oferă comercianților din România și din alte state ale UE, dar și din SUA, o alternativă eficientă și ecologică, care va fi apreciată de clienți”, a adăugat Stoian.

Noul produs, cunoscut sub numele de BIOLIN, va fi fabricat pe platforma industrială Exonia din Iași și va fi utilizat pentru ambalarea diverselor alimente, inclusiv burgeri, shawarma, mezeluri și prăjituri. Un aspect important al hârtiei cerate BIOLIN este că se degradează complet în natură, contribuind astfel la protejarea mediului înconjurător.
