Anul trecut, UPU a înregistrat 3.400 de cazuri critice

În anul precedent, Unitatea de Primiri Urgențe (UPU) a raportat un număr de 3.400 de cazuri urgente, cunoscute sub denumirea de cazuri roșii, ceea ce înseamnă o medie de aproape zece cazuri pe zi. Aceste situații medicale sunt considerate critice și necesită intervenții rapide pentru a salva viața pacienților.

Prof. dr. Diana Cimpoesu, medicul șef al UPU-SMURD, a declarat că numărul cazurilor roșii înregistrate anul trecut este similar cu cel al anului 2023, majoritatea acestor cazuri fiind stopuri cardiorespiratorii. Aceste afecțiuni sunt mai frecvente în sezonul de iarnă și în perioadele cu temperaturi ridicate, când organismul este supus unui stres mai mare.

Pe locul al doilea în clasamentul cazurilor critice se află persoanele aflate în stare de comă. Aceste statistici subliniază importanța serviciilor de urgență și nevoia de resurse adecvate pentru a face față numărului crescut de cazuri care necesită intervenție imediată.
